Portfoilio task 2: modernism text summary
Modernism came about from artist's responses to modernization, the advance of technology and science, and modernity, which is the life and experience of these changes and advances.
There are two key responses to modernity. The first response being negativity and a slight fear due to an boom in population, especially in the big cities when man thought it was giving way for the machine to overtake
The second response showed that the human could now use the world in different meaning, factors like travel were no longer a problem, this was a posotive reaction to modernity
A third response shows that due to the increase of technology had massive effects on human socail issues, and this played its part in helping develop a society of capitolism
